16 December 2006 was MINDS Youth Group Inter-project Bowling Tournament at The Chevrons. This much anticipated event was into its 4th year this time. To differentiate the six projects, each was allocated 2 lanes. Smiles and laughter were heard everywhere although most of the volunteers had attended a Christmas celebration event at NUS earlier on. Lucky Draw was conducted concurrently to bring the atmosphere of this joyful occasion up another notch. Just as the phrase goes, 'Sports do not build character, they reveal it', the event brought out the fun loving, united and sporting characters of the volunteers! Everyone cheered their own team members, gave lots of encouragement, and high-fives were seen throughout. Whether one can really bowl or not, everyone tried their best. Ultimately, what MYG wanted to achieve was for its volunteers to take a break, know one another better and to have fun! This fun and interactive evening had indeed been a 'striking' success.
