Introduction
West End is one of the five project groups of MINDS
Youth Group, the voluntary wing of the Movement for the Intellecutally Disabled
of Singapore. We conduct weekly sessions every
Saturday from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm for a group of intellectually disabled trainees
at Jurong Gardens School with the aim of allowing them to pick up skills useful
for independent living while having fun in a supportive and friendly environment.
Our Vision
West End Project will strive to become an established
voluntary hub to support all MINDS centres by providing quality training and
services to our trainees in the direction towards open employment.
Our Mission
Channel our well-trained and independent trainees to open employment under
the provision of our dedicated, motivated and well-trained volunteers
