Bt. Timah Hill for its trainees to get out into the open air and up close

Volunteer
Administrator Badminton Tournament The MINDS Youth Group (MYG) Volunteer
Administrator (VA) Committee organises a series of sports events between the
five MYG project groups to vie for the MYG Championship Trophy as a means
of building bonds and rapport between the project groups. The Badminton Tournament
held on 28th June 2003 evening is the first in the series.
MYG
Family Day 2003. Family Day is a regular event in the MYG annual calendar.
The event brings together trainees, their family members and volunteers from
all five MYG project groups and the NTU Welfare Services Club Regular Service
Project (Intellectually Disabled) (NTU
WSC-RSPID in short) for a day of fun and games. The 2003 event held on
20 Jul 03 at The Chinese High School featured a concert and a 'market fair'
of stores set up by volunteers for the trainees to have fun and learn something
at the same time.
Chinese New Year Celebrations
2004. Like the other MYG projects, West End conducts celebrations for
festive seasons. WE held its CNY celebrations in conjunction with NTU-RSPID
during the project weekly session at Jurong Gardens School on 31st January
2004 with a series of Chinese-themed activities for the trainees of both WE
and RSPID.
