About MINDS

1. What does MINDS stand for?
   MINDS = Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore Established in 1962, known as Singapore Association for Retarded Children or SARC. Its objective is to look after the needs of the persons with intellectual disabilities (IDs) and their family. It was accepted as a member of the Community Chest on 1st January 1985. In June 1985, SARC changed its name to MINDS.
